Cinemas in London

Going to the cinema is a very popular pastime of the British, and in London you will find some of the country's best cinemas, showing all types of films ranging from Hollywood blockbusters to independent Iranian films. Leicester Square is the most famous of the cinema districts and almost every other week, the area is the venue for a world, European or British premiere screening; crowds often flock here in the hope of getting a glimpse of Russell Crowe or Nicole Kidman, etc. Again, we have concentrated on listing the venues in Central London - however, there are also many cinemas in London's suburbs, which are usually quite a bit cheaper and often offer student discounts, etc.
